The idea of Baylight Recording began in 2012 by long time music industry professional Mary Godfrey. Mary has over twenty years of studio experience, which includes recording and producing audio tracks, video script writing and producing, and photo shoots. In 2012 Mary began working as a Music and Video Producer with client Debbie Teichmann. 

In 2014, Mary created a joint partnership with Robert Vann, Blue Baby Recording Founder and graduate of the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences (CRAS). Since then, BR has added CRAS Graduates to their team, offering variety to the team. 

BR has a mission to create a comfortable recording environment and valuable final audio recording products. 
BR assists individuals, businesses, groups, and families seeking to complete a collection of recorded tracks which may include select steps within recording one song, a recording project, or an entire album start to finish process.

BR Founder Mary Godfrey has her own catalog as a producer and songwriter. BR Songwriter Clients receive a professional coaching session, “Music In Motion” utilizing Mary Godfrey's life coaching, band management and mentoring experience to help them find clarity and set songwriting goals. 

The “Music In Motion” coaching session offers BR Clients an advantage: To help BR clients gain clarification on their desired project. Each project / program is created uniquely for the client, designed to support the client’s musical path, as a professional or hobbyist. 

The BR Team has the knowledge to service and educate their clients about benefits that may best serves them. This knowledge, as well as the level of customer service and combined studio experience gives BR Clients a reason to return.
